Namib Desert, Namibia
A sight as striking as it is eerie, Namibia’s vast desert effortlessly musters adjectives.
Terrifying, sprawling, desolate, romantic, beautiful:
this Southeast African titan is all of the above, and then some.
With its almighty saffron-hued sands and sweltering
blue skies, sequestered trees stand as if unnerving sentinels under a night sky heaving with stars.
Stretching over 81,000 sq km,
it was the setting for John Moore’s disaster movie Flight Of The Phoenix
and the dystopian backdrop to 2015 blockbuster Mad Max:
Fury Road. One of the world’s oldest deserts, journey through its stricken landscape for front-row seats to the battle of nature’s
colours, where deep-orange dunes grapple with bright-white mineral pans, red rocky outcrops and inky black shadows.
이렇게 큰 스케일로 찍은 나미브 사막 사진은 처음 봤는데
볼손이 발달한건지, 그렇다면 저 능선들은 도상구릉인지 한번 체크해봐야겠다
