Rare earth elements production and reserves
Demand for rare earth elements is growing as the world undergoes a major energy transition. China is by far the world’s biggest supplier, though other countries have major supplies (Brazil and Vietnam) or are medium producers (Australia and the US). The dark blue circles refer to the known production in millions of tons while the light blue refers to reserves.
